NGHN Update

Our key activities and accomplishments since August of this year are;

• Initiated Planned Parenthood NextGen user group calls – this is now monthly call opened to anyone in PP running NextGen
• Tools & Resources for EPM (practice management system) released
• Additional compliance reports available through QIW, our centralized reporting system
• Completion of alpha and beta testing process for EHR Framework (customized EMR templates)
• Went Live at our first pilot location on 12/1
• 2009 plan and budget completed for board approval – our first cycle of doing this as a new organization
  

Here’s a brief overview on NGHN:

NGHN’s mission is to empower its members to measure and achieve continuous quality improvements in operational and clinical outcomes.

We are creating a learning network of members that systematically identifies, explores, vets, and adopts best business and clinical practices. This is accomplished through the NGHN Frameworks™, an integrated solution that utilizes standardized processes, configurations, data collections, tools and related workflows to achieve continuous quality improvements. The Frameworks platform integrates people, process and information with the systems & tools to achieve these improvements.
