We recently completed our bi-directional lab interface with Quest at one of our clinics. They are a smaller clinic so the training was fairly easy. Although we did encounter a few issues on the Go Live date most were addressed quickly and easily and things are running well now. We did have requests for reports that allow the providers to gather data on lab orders that have not had a speciman obtained for a period of time along with a few other various report requests which we are working on. I am going to attempt to include a link to an attachment on my Google Docs that is a "sort of" checklist/guide for our lab interface implementation. This is still a bit of a rough draft and is specifically for NextGen and Quest but I would imagine many items in here would cross over to other systems as well.
