“Meaningful Use” to me would be to improve the quality of care for our patients. Also, I feel the Providers who are a vital impact of any EHR, would need to provide information that it is being used to its fullest capacity.
I also feel that the ability to communicate with one another and report quality measures of clinical data will be the end result of “Meaningful Use” of an EHR. However, it should begin at the beginning of Health Information Technology Planning stage and tested accordingly.
